As a kid voices made me taste stuff. Like some teacher's voices kind of made me taste peach yoghurt, another porridge, another digestive biscuits. It still happens but much less frequently.

I'm told it happens more as a kid as the brain is still in the process of wiring up and sometimes 2 separate parts get connected. Like sound an vision get linked so some people can "see music". It's called synesthesia I think.
