You may have noticed that I've been getting spammers leaving silly advertisements and other crude messages in my comments recently. I've now installed MT-Blacklist which is "A Movable Type Anti-spam Plugin". It's a great little plug-in which takes merely minutes to install. I can't recommend it enough if you've been encountering similar problems. Take that, you spamming low-lifes!
