Dear Sir/Madam, The 2003 edition gives the youngest Victoria Cross winner as Andrew Fitzgibbon.My records show he was born 13 May 1845 and received his award 21 August 1860 - making him 15 years and 100 days old.Thomas Flinn was born August 1842 and received his award 28 November 1857 - making him 15 years and 3 months old - but is he younger or older than Andrew Fitzgibbon.Can you provide proof of age for Thomas Flinn.Best wishes.
