I'm been away for a couple of days in London for a friend's wedding. Fun, fun, fun. I can't believe she's married.

We don't celebrate Christmas in this house. We have turkey, pull crackers and get presents but we don't celebrate Christmas. I've been labelled Scrooge because I find this a little weird. Bah humbug.
Not that I don't like the Christmas spirit. It reminds me of days gone by. Participation in the nativity play (they always cast me as an angel, and once I had to do a solo, scary), fun carols (we often changed the words to rude ones because we were mature like that), pretty cool movies on the telly (some of the classics like A Christmas Carol and The Wizard of Oz still give me a warm feeling inside) and overdosing on chocolate.
If Christmas means a little peace for a couple of days then I won't complain. Merry Christmas.
Two hours sleep = not good

My posts are becoming more surreal as time goes on. I like that.
There were many highlights this Eid. Say for instance, family, friends, food, Harry Potter, rediscovering how fine Brad Pitt is, Haagen Daaz, silly games like Chinese Whispers and more.
The downsides? None. Oh, except four alarms going off at five in the morning. Simultaneously.
How to make biryani. Now there's no excuse for not making it when I come to visit.
Sorry, I didn't send out any virtual Eid Greetings this year. But I was thinking of you, promise.

It's not often you'll read an article and know most of the people and places mentioned in it personally. I know Marsh Farm! I went to that sixth form college! John Ramm teaches my sister and was my best friend's favourite teacher! I live near Bury Park! My sister knows those people! Anyway, it's a good article.
I remember a while ago watching this programme on BBC2 and seeing this amazing piece of art. Could'nt remember the artists so I thought that I'd never see it again. But I found the artists and even a picture of the piece of art I love! I love the internet.

Glasgow's most famouse architest, Charles Rennie Mackintosh entered a competition in 1901 to design a 'House for an Art Lover'. The house was not realised during Mackintosh's lifetime. The construction of the house began in 1989 and was completed in 1996.

Glasgow Science Centre and IMAX Cinema. Unfortunately you can't see the Glasgow Tower in these pictures which stands alongside these two buildings. It's the only building in the world capable of turning 360° from the ground up.
I don't remember what this is or where it was. We were out retro clothes shopping one day when I saw the view and snapped this photo.
I want this t-shirt. The sad thing is though that no irony/piss taking would be involved whilst wearing it. I did like them when they were 'underground'. Ahem. Mango juice makes me phlegmy.

I love in-jokes, especially if they help highlight the marvellously geeky cultural differences between my internet clique and the rest of the world.
I suffer from cold hands syndrome nine months of the year. I could do with these.
They're having a UCAS Chemistry open day at my univerisity today which means lots of fresh, innocent and naive faces lurking around. Run, save yourself!! Don't take chemistry! It's not too late for you yet!
