My friend texted me today
My friend texted me today while I was at university to tell me of another plane crash in New York. I thought what I think most people did and my heart sank.

Don't be so quick to judge - so far all plane crashes since September 11th, although great tragedies in themselves, have not been the result of terrorist activities. So far all evidence points to a terrible accident - let's all hope that this is not a resumption of this kind of violence.
I know Hasan. All thinmgs point to an accident but I was just saying that that was my first gut reaction. Wasn't it yours?
No it wasn't actually. I have learned to keep an open mind about these things. We have to be rational; these accidents are terrible, but that's all they are - accidents.
Sorry if that last post sounded a little sanctimonious.... :)
